International Developer Conference (IDC) 2024 - Rohde & Schwarz

At the recent Rohde & Schwarz International Developer Conference, IDC 2024, Prof. Dr. Mathias Fischer delivered a keynote titled “Cybersecurity in an Interconnected World - From Security by Design to Zero Trust.” The event, held annually in Munich, gathers technology experts and developers from Rohde & Schwarz to delve into the latest advancements in technology.

Prof. Dr. Fischer’s keynote shed light on the critical importance of cybersecurity in today’s interconnected world, especially amidst advancements like the Internet of Things and the increasing interconnectivity of critical infrastructures. With a focus on moving from traditional security approaches to the Zero Trust model, the audience was equipped with insights to tackle evolving cyber threats. As part of the talk also the intended solutions proposed by the SOVEREIGN project were highlighted.

The IDC serves as a platform for global Rohde & Schwarz developers to come together, sharing knowledge and engaging in interdisciplinary discussions on cutting-edge technological trends. While the event is based in Munich, colleagues from R&D locations worldwide, including the USA, Romania, and Singapore, actively participate either in person or through the live stream.
